My take on the event (in no particular order): The coordinators were great.....they knew their jobs and what message they had to get across to the volunteers and then stayed back. I think this training could work for any organization not just on a membership event. I witnessed more enthusiasm about the Chamber than I have for several years. This was not the first Membership 'drive' that I've ever participated in but this certainly was the most fun. It brought out and involved more people talking up the Chamber. I saw people working for the Chamber that I hadn't seen volunteering before. It brain washed (in a good way) the participants and I think it will keep the membership numbers up because of it. The event also revived the Staff......it's very important that they know how much we support and believe in them and what they do.”
